Building Resilient Me

Color wheel for building resilient me

Building Resilient Me is a wellness program for elementary school students designed to help youth identify and strengthen protective factors in their lives and leverage their voice to help bring positivity to their school’s culture.

Aligned to the work of the Sources of Strength program found in DCSD middle and high schools, Building Resilient Me uses a fun-filled style of active learning to encourage students to activate the sources of strength that can be helpful in all of our lives. This program provides ideas and reflections about how students can receive help from trusted adults and how peer leaders can connect friends to help and support. It is led by a certified trainer in DCSD and adult leaders from the school.
