Life & AD&D Insurance
Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance is an important element of your income protection planning, especially for those who depend on you for financial security.  DCSD provides Basic Life and AD&D Insurance to all benefits-eligible employees at no cost.  You have the option to purchase Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance.

Please be sure to keep your beneficiary designation(s) up-to-date in Workday.

You are eligible for Basic Life Insurance & AD&D on the first day of the calendar month following 90 consecutive days as an employee.

DID YOU KNOW….

That you can designate a beneficiary for your life insurance, whether it is the District provided or your additional purchased life insurance?  You can do this in Workday at any time of the year.  You can make changes to your beneficiary(s) or add beneficiaries.

That you can specify an Emergency Contact in Workday?  It may be easy to overlook, but it can be very helpful in times of need.

Take a moment to check your Workday information.  Make sure that your information is up to date with what you want in place.  Contact [email protected], if you need assistance.
