*LIMITED INDOOR RENTALS RESUME TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2021*


Great news .... the Community will be able to rent, one indoor area per organization, starting Tuesday, February 16, 2021.  Similar to the return of indoor rentals this past Fall, the Rental Office will require all approved rentals to abide by current local and State health guidelines (ie: masks, social distancing, capacity, etc).  Those guidelines can be found on the CDPHE website (https://covid19.colorado.gov/covid-19-dial).  In addition to the CDPHE guidelines, all approved rentals will be required to follow District disinfecting/cleaning protocol.   Please check in with the Rental Office with any questions you may have and to check on the status of an approved rental. 

Please note - The District has the right to cancel an approved facility request/rental due to COVID-19, school events, etc at any time.  The Rental Office will do their very best to give as much notice and relocation if possible.

As of January 4, 2021 all indoor rentals are cancelled until further notice.  If you have an approved rental for January, please note this is cancelled until the District authorizes indoor rentals.  Any approved rental agreement will be adjusted accordingly.  The Rental Office will notify each organization once an approval to procced forward with indoor rentals has been obtained from the District.    

As a reminder, any outdoor rental is required to follow the local and current State health guidelines when renting with Douglas County School District (ie: masks, # of attendees, social distancing, etc)

The Office of Facility Rentals supports our stakeholders by managing use (inside and outside) of our schools within our community. With nearly seventy school sites, we provide a wide variety of space to suit our clients' needs. Our goal is to provide rental space for your organization while controlling costs.

The Office of Facility Rentals is one of the primary contacts between our community and our schools. A wide variety of groups (both non-profit and commercial) utilize our schools seven days a week.

A portion of the rental dollars is shared directly to the school, which gives the school additional funding to further support children's education.
